Dragging his feet. Being as lazy as he could be, Sun ordered another cocktail and leaned back a little more into his couch.
He put his feet up.
He wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Those people on that planet just had to stay put and wait for him to finish this drink. And his snacks. Today was his day and no-one could take that away from him. He was comfortable right now, maybe he’d give Nightfall a call and offer to take-over his shift.
The kiwi wasn’t happy. Not necessarily green with envy, more a slight disappointment in my not giving him time to fix his hair before the picture.
It is amazing it took only 23 modifications with the Instagram filters to get the mediocre picture looking like right-out-of-a-17-th-century-Dutch-painting…
Still. The clouds won’t speak to me. Just that plane, like that small but visible nudge telling you to travel more and reach for the sky.
It does not have to be a lot. Just the green shimmer of the exit sign will do, actually.
